We know from our own personal networks that there is a large number of creatives out there looking for work at the moment, be it freelance, contract or full-time work. Our aim with Designivist.com is to become the number one destination on the web for designers and creative businesses to seek and advertise work. Designisvist is a career and community site built by designers for designers, specifically to cater for this unique market of creative professionals and creative companies.

We also want designers to use Designivist to establish their own networks, as well as share information about trends in design, employment and innovative product development.

Designivist hosts individual creative portfolios and a database of job and project openings. The Designivist community represents a cross-section of the global design industry - working designers, creative directors, internal and external hiring professionals, managers of design firms, marketing and product management professionals, students, and educators. It caters for a vast array of creative fields including graphic design, web design, photography, architecture, and interior design.

If you're wondering how it all works, it's very simple.

Creatives register to create a portfolio and profile. Companies and recruitment firms register to set up a profile and create job listings. Designivist facilitates the connection between creatives and companies by matching job listings to creative profiles as well as through groups and networks.
